2 posts in one day..I'm thinking this is a record. I attended a wedding out in Lamoille last weekend. The setting and the bride were just so beautiful, I had to post a couple of pictures. These were taken with my camera, but I can't wait to see the pics the photographer took. The sunset was gorgeous, I couldn't stop looking at it. This is a picture of all of the OB nurses with Jennifer. WE took some more formal pictures but I love this picture.

Catching up

Just for you Chris, I am updating my blogspot since you don't have a Facebook page :) It's been a busy year. In January we spent a few days in Aspen with my brother and his family. We finally got to see my new great nephew Liam. We then headed over to Montrose for a couple of days to spend some time with Mikes family. I also spent a few hours with my Aunt Sue.
We also did some ice fishing this winter, I love to fish, but am such a wimp in the cold. I seem to forget about the cold when I'm catching fish, which is great because we caught lots. I bundled up in about 20 layers of clothes and looked like the kid from A Christmas Story after his mom makes him put on so many layers of clothing. Thank heaven for cell phones and Facebook because Susie saw my Facebook post that Mike forgot the firewood and had Red bring me a fire. My Heroes!!!
WE've had a nice summer so far, not too hot and actually had snow in June. In July Kim and I took the train to Grand Junction and I headed over to Nucla for a mini 37 year reunion with classmates (of course I graduated when I was 2). We had so much fun catching up, I just wish we'd had more time. Hopefully we'll all get together again soon and not wait 37 years. Kim and I also spent the night with Aunt Sue in Montrose and played cards until we couldn't keep our eyes open. We laughed so much that we didn't want to quit.
We've spent some time at Wildhorse fishing this summer. The last trip I got sun burned, bug bit and went swimming for my pole. I was fishing from the shore and turned around to get a drink out of the cooler and heard my pole hit the ground and turned around to see it going into the lake. I dove in after it up to my neck but it was gone. Mike and Red went out in the boat about 30 minutes later and Mike was throwing his line in with empty hooks thinking he would hook my pole...I'm thinking what a crazy boy...and I couldn't believe it...he snagged it and the fish was still on there. Wildhorse is a good sized lake and I can't believe he caught it. The fish was the only one he caught all day so I give him credit for half a fish.
I turned 54 this July (yikes) and also have been married 37 years in July. Time sure has flown but it's been a blast.
We are now getting our house ready to sell, that's been a lot of work and I'm ready to relax.
