.......................Snake River Canyon

While we were in Twin Falls, we walked along the trail on the Snake River Canyon. It is so pretty, with the Snake River flowing in the bottom. This is the canyon Evel Knievel unsuccessfully attempted to jump in 1974. The water was so green which really gave it an eerie look. There is a statue along the trail called "The Twins" that we thought really fit the canyon. We walked underneath the large bridge which is a very busy highway with constant traffic. We were running by the time we got halfway under the bridge, every car that went over made that bridge shake so bad, it seriously sounds like it's going to fall on top of you.

My baby turned 24 yesterday. She's grown up sooooo fast. We had a nice day in Twin Falls, ID shopping. It wasn't Disney World like we planned but was very relaxing. It was nice to spend the night and not have to hurry home after dinner at Chile's last night. I was a bad mom and made her watch the finale to the Bachelor in the motel room. She kept reminding me that it was HER birthday and how lame that show was....but I just had to watch. She fell asleep with her earphone/ipod on and I then watched the movie Twilight on the motel movie channel.
Anyway....If she turned 24 yesterday, that makes me REALLY old!!!
